Featured Event Guidelines

1. Relevance to the Car Community

  • The event must be directly related to car culture or automotive activities.
  • Events that focus on vehicles, driving experiences, meet-ups, tuning, car shows, and community-driven automotive projects are preferred.
  • Non-automotive events will not be considered unless they include a significant car-related component.

2. Community Impact

  • The event should have a positive impact on the Magic Valley car community or the broader local community.
  • Events that promote charity, fundraising, or community-building activities will be given priority.

3. Expected Attendance

  • Larger events with a significant expected turnout or those that draw attendees from outside the local area will be prioritized.
  • Events with broad appeal that attract various segments of the car enthusiast community (e.g., classic car owners, drift enthusiasts, off-roaders) are more likely to be featured.

4. Organizational Quality

  • Events organized by established groups, clubs, or businesses with a history of successful events are more likely to be featured.
  • Events that demonstrate clear planning, professionalism, and attention to detail in their promotion will be given preference.

5. Unique or Special Activities

  • Events that offer unique experiences or activities, such as a special guest appearance, live demonstrations, rare vehicle showcases, or exclusive car unveilings, are more likely to be featured.
  • Events that are considered “first-of-its-kind” or involve a significant new experience for the community will be prioritized.

6. Frequency of Events

  • To ensure a variety of events are featured, preference may be given to events that don’t occur frequently. Regular weekly or monthly meet-ups may not be featured as often as unique or annual events.
  • Recurring events may be featured occasionally, especially if they have a large following or offer something new in each iteration.

7. Event Presentation

  • Events with well-prepared descriptions, attractive visuals, and a clear outline of what attendees can expect have a higher chance of being featured.
  • Proper use of the event submission format, including clear dates, locations, and activities, will be taken into account.

8. Inclusivity and Accessibility

  • Events that are open to all ages, are family-friendly, and have accessible venues are preferred.
  • Events that create an inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of experience level, background, or vehicle type, are more likely to be featured.

9. Community Engagement

  • Events that actively encourage community involvement or collaboration, such as volunteer opportunities or ways to give back to the local area, will be prioritized.
  • Events that demonstrate a clear effort to involve and engage with the broader Magic Valley community will have a higher chance of being featured.

10. No Conflicts with Guidelines

  • Events must fully adhere to MV Car Culture’s community guidelines to be eligible for featuring.
  • Events that include any form of illegal activities, dangerous driving practices, or disrespectful behavior will not be featured under any circumstances.

Additional Considerations

  • Featured Event Rotation: To give all events a fair chance, featured events will rotate regularly. Even if an event isn’t featured this time, it might be highlighted in the future.
  • Community Votes: In some cases, featured events may be chosen based on community interest or votes.
